What is rhythm tap?

A form of tap dance deeply rooted in jazz syncopation and musicality.  Rhythm tap uses syncopation and off-beats, instead of following the music.  You are the soloist creating your own rhythms.  Or rhythm tap can accompany  live musicians or special recordings where the musicians accompany you.
